Gideon lives alone in a subdivision where everyone decorates up their lawns like crazy and it attracts scores of people driving through to admire it all. Everything from the decorating to the day after Christmas bargain shopping. I think it took all of about two pages before I was in love. I knew I would have to read this book after that adorableness. I want to say first that I fell in love with this cover. The Geek Who Saved Christmas is by Annabeth Albert. However, it does contain a heaping helping of the same emotions and steamy moments readers have come to expect!

It stands alone and is not connected to any of the author’s other universes. This grumpy/sunshine, neighbors-to-lovers, found family tale features two heroes in their forties figuring out that maybe their sexily-ever-after was right next door the whole time. The Geek Who Saved Christmas is a low-angst m/m holiday romance with a guaranteed happy ending. It’ll take some winter magic to preserve their happiness and keep these rival neighbors together longer than one holiday season.
